Something to remember about not just Sebastian but all celebrities. So many (probably all) of them would rather you come up to them than try to be sneaky.

Listen to him. Knock your shit off, Standom! God damn. Give him some space and show some respect. This is why we can’t have nice things. Y’all have no chill.

not to get Controversial but perhaps its time people stopped treating celebrities like some sort of commodity. they’re not a trophy you can wave around after getting a selfie. they’re human beings, they dont owe you a damn thing except for the art they create that you willingly choose to pay for. stop camping outside airports to see them when they’re getting off of long flights. stop expecting them to hang around and take photos with you. stop expecting things they never promised you, things they dont owe you. stop being an asshole, realize that they’re human beings, and start treating them as such.

Of course these stars will be polite and try to be accommodating with selfies and signatures and whatnot. Because if they say “no” or ask you to respect their privacy, you’ll drag them endlessly- as if somehow they were the ones in the wrong.

• you don’t know them/they’re not your friend (no matter how many times you’ve inflicted yourself into their lives)

• they don’t know you (see above^)

• they don’t belong to you

• they don’t owe you anything

No matter how many times you paid for a pic or autograph at a con or how many times you “run into them” on the street, this is not okay.

You’re going to ruin it for the respectful, normal part of fandom.

Remember: if it’s not okay for a stranger to do to you (follow you, touch you, grab you)...it is not okay for you to do it to a celebrity!!

I rarely share my opinions on the fandom because I don’t like stiring up drama, but I just can’t keep this in. Could “fans” on instagram stop trying to police Sebastian’s look?! Stop bitching that he shaved and cut his hair because you like how he looks with longer hair and a beard. He doesn’t even know you. It’s his body he’s allowed to make it look however he wishes. Half the time he changes his look for a role anyway. You don’t like it when someone says “you’d look prettier with longer hair” because you feel like it’s body shaming, so don’t you dare do it to a celebrity you met for :15 seconds at a con.

I always dread these weekends and the behaviour some fans exhibit at Cons.

This was a preemptive joke but seems like it was necessary, no?

THEY AREN’T YOUR FRIENDS. YOU MAY NOT ROAST THEM FOR YOUR SHITS AND GIGGLES. FUCKING STOP BEING ASSHOLES. WE’RE ALL WATCHING.

Whoever made up that horrible rumor about biting Sebastian you should be fucking ashamed of yourself.

Fandom...babe, honey, listen. Y’all are getting exhausting.

This is why I ask for receipts. Your attention seeking, one upping asses are out of control. If it’s not the desperate “notice me”s on insta or the inappropriate questions/gifts at cons for the notoriety to be the next video/gifset that secondhand embarrasses us all, it’s this shit. And we all know it’s not just Sebastian you insufferable brats are doing this to.

It is not okay to insult or belittle them. It is not okay to embarrass them. It is not okay to touch them without presmission. It is not okay to stalk them everywhere they go and inflict yourselves into their lives for your own personal gain of a selfie at the expense of their private/nonworking time. It’s fucking creepy and shameful, some of the shit you do. You wouldn’t tolerate some stranger doing it to you. So why the hell do you think it’s okay to do to them??

You don’t know them. Even if they know your name or recognize you from multiple cons/whatever, you’re not friends. You’re not entitled to anything. They don’t belong to you. They are human fucking beings, who go out of their way to be kind. You should take the cue from them. Have a little respect, for yourself and especially them, and just. STAHP!
