Fans making hate accounts towards any women Seb hangs out with or is associated with that is around his age:

Bitching about Sebastian Stan changing his look, even if it’s him trimming his beard or hair.

recently, in the past two months or so, there’s been a lot of calling out of people who’ve stepped over the line in terms of respecting the privacy of celebrities, especially seb stan. today, at ace comic con, a weibo user revealed seb’s phone number and personal camera roll when he was talking to her, and the user said that ‘he trusted his fans so much’ when in reality, she had no permission from him to film his camera roll or number, or any personal details. she’s also apparently followed him to the airport and asked him to do an inappropriate pose at a photo op with him that made him and the photographer uncomfortable.

an australian user on instagram has been known to follow seb around, following him to his hotel, invading his personal space and interrupting other fans’ moments with him in favour of herself. this has been going on for a while and she hasn’t stopped. this is NOT okay and people need to start reporting these occurrences more, because it is clearly stalking, and these fans are going way too far.

the twitter/instagram account @ stalkersebstans is calling out these people/stalkers (you can find more proof of the stalking on there), and I’m sure many other accounts are doing so as well. a lot of popular seb-centric social media accounts have been reporting them, and if you see stalker-ish posts, report it. it’s easy to get excited when you meet someone like seb, but if you’re a sensible human being, then you shouldn’t get so caught up in it that you reveal personal details or stalk them. have fun and all, but respect celeb’s boundaries they’re humans too and they definitely need their privacy more than anyone else. do not make them do things that they are not comfortable with.

I’m going to be sick. This information’s really important. The people mentioned on that account are exhibiting inexcusable behavior, and it’s not okay to feel entitled to violating celebrities’ privacy just because they’re famous.

Like, have some respect and be aware that they‘re real people with boundaries. Celebrities already share more of their life to the public than the average person, but that doesn’t give fans the invitation to harass them.

Just because you‘re aware about specific details concerning their personal life, doesn’t mean you actually know them. And to constantly badger them and blatantly ignore the line that separates inappropriateness and again—respect, is what’s going to tarnish/ruin that celebrity-fan relationship.

My god, that this even needs to be said. Unbelievable, but not surprising. They, and anyone who condones/encourages this kind of behavior, will ruin this for everyone. These are reasons why people don’t do cons, ignore fans, and generally avoid the public. Because you people are psychos and you frighten them (and any other rational human being).

Anyone who thinks this is fandom or that a celebrity signs up for this is wrong. They’re actors. It’s their job. That SS, or any others, make appearances, uses social media to interact with the public, and stop for selfies is a gift to their fans. One that can be refused and legally restrained at any time they choose.

What these stalkers (yes, that’s what they are) are doing is a gross violation of privacy and unacceptable to do to anyone. One more time, for the psychos in the back...
