Hopelessly obsessed w/ Bucky Barnes & Steve Rogers (Sebastian Stan & Chris Evans),
endlessly bothered by Frank Grillo. Geek for others in my free time,
occasional DC fan, & other misc. part-time problems. [18+nsfw]

This is very important. Hit that reblog button!
I know it doesn’t seem like much, but it is. Writers aren’t writing. Artists aren’t arting. People are actually just up and leaving, because there’s no love here anymore. There’s all this work put in to what content creators create- hundreds to thousands of words, hours of drawing and editing. And for what?
Content is just being consumed when it’s meant to be shared. It only takes a moment. If you read long enough to hit the end of the post and liked what you read- hit that reblog button! If you scrolled through to the bottom of that fanart and liked what you saw- hit that reblog button! If you watched to the end of the fanvid or saw all the gifs in a set and liked what you saw- Yep. You guessed it. Hit that god damn reblog button!
Fandom is getting weak here. In some ways, it’s dying. “Fans” are turning on their favs, at the drop of a hat and for practically nothing anymore. Cancel culture is running wild. And it’s threatening your fandom creators, too. When a fandom stops being fun, supportive, encouraging, and involved- it sucks. Aren’t we all here to enjoy fandom? These movies and shows and whatnot we all came here and found each other for?
What happened to us, fandom? When did we all turn into...this, whatever it’s been around here lately. So mean, rabid, indifferent, cold?? It didn’t used to be this way.
Haven’t we been through enough already? Haven’t we lost enough? Don’t let 2020 kill fandom, too. Don’t let our disheartened favs/mutuals/writers/artists/editors give up and leave. Not without a fight!
Make a promise, right now- be just a little more involved, just a little more interested, a little more kind. It goes such a long way. And it’s as simple as letting fandom creators know: We see you. We appreciate your contribution and enjoy your work. We want you to stay.
Hit that reblog button, everyone.
