I don’t have much to add to this post (apart from “I had to google ‘grafting’, that was fun!”), but I’m still reblogging all the Sheep the Musical content, this is so much fun!

(Did you have a particular reason for deciding to make Asparagus a donkey? Or any particular reason to have a donkey at all? Or was it just a “we wanted to”?)

Petition for the “Jellicle Sonngs for Jellicle Cats” number of Sheep the Musical to be “Beep Beep I’m A Sheep”

Part of my interpretation for the choreo is that it is a very percussive musical. I mean we have some acrobatics and leaps (cause sheep) but the thing is that sheep aren’t as graceful and fluid like cats are. As a result I think the choreo would be very much simsilsr to shows like “Stomp” where the percussion is almost entirely done by the dancers themselves.

In other words the sheep stomping out the beet to Beep Beep I’m a Sheep would work beautifully.

So ironically they would actually be singing ‘With Cat-like Tread’?

Cats the musical is so last year. I’m all about sheep the musical now.

It’s about a bunch of sheep meeting in an overgrown meadow every year and debating who gets their wool shaved off that year.

I have a handful of headcannons for the sheep squad so far:

Skimbleshep the tractor ram

Just a sheep that can drive a tractor. To sheep he’s a hero to the farmer he’s a nightmare.

The farmer only uses the tractor is skimble is present to make sure there’s no tomfoolery. As a result skimble assumes the tractor can only be used under his guidance. He’s very proud of this fact.

Mungwejerrie and Rampeltupper

Skimble’s kids. Steal from both their farm and neighboring farms. Clothes off lines, pies out of windows, farm tools, you name it. They shove it all in a little hiding place under a shed.

Given their behaviour and their habit of breaking into the house, M&R were probably hand-raised and bottle-fed, so their mother may be out of the picture.
