I feel like "probably won't get physically injured and have to do manual labor while injured" is another benefit to office jobs no one mentions
I don't think people in the notes understand "injured doing manual labor" here is like breaking your leg or getting a concussion or dying of heat stroke
#got lucky-ish today#60kg mastiff REFUSED to get in bath so i needed to call in help to lift/shove him in#then REFUSED to step onto table (but I managed to lift/shove/bodyblock him myself)#and no way was I going to be able to crate him so lucky his owner was nearby to pick him up almost as soon as Iwas done with him#and every way i tried to move him he just dug in his heels and used all his muscles to Not Do That#and all my leg musclesare so achey now#BUT#i count myself lucky because#he was sweet boy DESPITE all that and never tried to flail or bite#which with his strength and bulk would have been devastating#and most importantly#since the dog I was meant togroom after him cancelled I couldjust say#HEY MANAGER please count the last two hours of my shift today as sick leave I am going home early#because my uterus was being a dick#and i know I am so very privileged to be able to just clock off early because I moderately feel like shite#and still get paid#manifesting it for you all
