Despite my deep and abiding irritation over having to endure American election spam all over the internet for over a year before their actual elections, with no reliable tags to block because America seems to assume that its politics = the whole world - this much, I agree with. And if there was somebody saying things like this in Australia, even if an old white male, I might actually begin to feel a sliver of hope in politics again.
