Non-physical captivity. A relationship which is warped from threats and blackmail. From guilt and 'to protect' something (or someone?).

Whumpee and whumper in a relationship similar to captive and captor. Except it isn't physical. It's all mind games and social relationships and reasons for this non-physical captivity. Owing a debt? Covering up for someone else? Feeling this is 'the only thing I can do'?

Honestly, maybe the non-physical captivity is the best of all. The invisible chain.
