Wouldn't it be cool if Metalhead had a female voice in new tmnt cartoon iteration. Idk why I thought it was gendered as female despite being a robot. Until lately I heard it saying "I will protect mutants" in a male voice. What do you think.
Was that a missed opportunity?
Never really thought about it! I like Metalhead any way and every way!

Temporarily taking a break from my other writing projects to work on the first draft of a story that brings Oyuki into the 2003 universe... and has her and Mikey running from zombies in the middle of the Maine woods.

Ah! But the thing is, Leo is the POV character, but he is going to be observing Raph BEING protective of and looking after Donnie!

Ooh! Big surprise on the results of the third poll!
So, now that it has been established that the story I am plotting out will take place in the 2003 universe, will revolve around Donatello, and the Turtles will be pre-teens, let's figure out who the POV character will be!
Because of the nature of the story, Don is not an option. Also, Splinter will be away at the time (because adult supervision would get in the way 😁)
I just got the first chapter of that Post-ROTTMNT-movie CJ story up!
Honestly, since there are ghosts involved, I really just wanted to get some part of it posted before Halloween! Not that they're scary ghosts, but still...

Now that we have established the iteration (2003) and who the focus of the story will be (Donatello), let's choose when it will take place!
Note: I am not including Seasons 5-7 in the options, because I don't believe those eras would lend themselves well to the storyline. Also, as much as I love season 4, I didn't want to go for angry Leo as a character in this one, and Donnie already had way too much going on at the end of that season!

Even though this poll isn't done yet (I meant to make it just a one-day poll), I think it's safe to assume 2003 is the winner! Now to decide which Turtle is the focus of the story (the one that the inciting event happens to -- the one who gets injured and whose perceptions get altered).
Note: The POV character / characters will be decided in the next poll, this one is just to decide who the story is going to be about!

I have a lot of writing going on right now, so I won't be working on this right away, but I had the spark of a story enter my mind and I wanted to get a few details down to add to my to-write list.
Now, at the moment all I have is the idea, so I figured I would do a little audience participation to work out the details! So, without knowing exactly what the story entails, and only knowing that it will have both comedy and dramatic elements, AND that it will involve one character (which will be decided in a later poll) getting injured in such a way that it alters their perceptions in a very specific way...
ROTTMNT fans!
I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is your headcanon about how Splinter, Raph, Don, April, Cassandra, etc. died before the events of the movie?
