I absolutely love this.

The holding hands and the whole “you hurt my brother you are dead” face

The one in blue has been hurt and the one in green is being protective.

This is actually a really interesting observation.

This is literally so precious

“What’s Supernatural about?”

“Oh, this.”

At first Dean watches closely, he sees how much Sam is hurting and how angry he is. so when he shoves him aside, he is going through three steps. first- he lays hand on Sam, grounding, ‘C’mere, hey.’ he says gently. Then he shoves Sam lightly behind him. his left hand on Sam’s heart all the way through. and then after Sam is out of danger, he takes his right hand, and put it on Sam’s heart as if to say ‘I am here, Sammy. You are safe. I’m taking care of it. I am here’.  I can’t not imagine how this body language is so familiar to both of them. how Dean’s touch can ground Sam and calm him down. he isn’t opposing this touch, he is letting Dean take care of him, just like he had when they were kids.
