the story; hisako was a member of kitty pryde’s squad at the xavier institute. after helping kitty protect the students when the danger room attacked them, she had the chance to join the team on missions. she was one of few students to keep her powers after m-day and helped the new x-men in their attack on stryker’s church. hisako sided with wolverine during the schism and went to the new school with him, where she continued on as a student.

powers; hisako can generate a psionic force field in the shape of a suit of armor. her armor is durable, nearly invulnerable, and vastly increases her strength. generating the armor causes a great strain, but she can sustain it for prolonged periods of time, even occasionally boosting the size or giving it a different shape. hisako generates the armor using the energy from her dead ancestors; this means that as family members die, her armor grows more powerful.

Emma Frost: You wouldn’t take the opportunity to just…Drop me, would you?

Storm: Of course not.  Well not far.

Cyclops: You’re scoping us out for T’Challa?

Storm: Goddess, Scott.  It was my idea.  I talked him into it.  I never knew guilt free shopping and constant lovemaking could get so boring.
