OK but serious moment, Dagdar and Eladus are like, extremely precious to me. When I first started playing, Green Knight was the story I started with, my very first introduction to the world of GW2.
So, when Dagdar comes in asking for you to help 'his beloved', I assumed his beloved was a woman. I think @elder-dragon can remember my surprise when we entered the next area and see Eladus. And then they cement this relationship further; both talk so much about how they love each other.
It set my expectations for the kind of world that I was getting myself into. And since then, it only grew. Love unrestricted by gender, gender itself unrestricted by real life societal expectation, disabilities and neurodivergencies acknowledged and understood.
I guess it's like, Dagdar and Eladus' relationship being right there front and centre of my first experience with the game gave me this feeling that 'yes, even you definitely belong here'.
