queer identity simply does not function the same way as racial identity, and neither function the same way as disability and mental illness, and none of these function similarly to antisemitism and islamophobia (which have differences and nuance from each other as well)

everyone will help each other far far far more if we stop conflating these things as working in the same way

Almost all of the “Mingle” dating sites are run by the same company - Sparks Networks - that runs literally dozens of niche ID-based dating sites for the purpose of gathering & selling data. Some of their sites:

They also run Black Singles and Deaf Singles. ChristianMingle lost a lawsuit a few years ago and now has to allow gay dating. Sparks bought Zoosk in July of 2019, and promptly cut 2/3 of the staff and planned to move out of San Francisco.
