I reached 106 (& they’re actually people!! Not bots!!) followers the other day & I was gonna make a post about it. (Because that’s the thing to do kdbskcjs) Y’know the one.... “thanks for following me, I wanna tag so & so & thank them for putting up with me” Blah, blah, blah 😆🙊
I was so excited that that many people were actually interested in my *insert dramatic movie voice here* Blog of a Thousand Fandoms!! *the music suddenly swells & then fades off into the background*
But then I started thinking about it.... of those 106 followers, maybe about.... hmmm, 8 of them are mutuals. Of those 8, not a one has hyped (I guess another word would be interacted with?) or shown interest in the content I make... (like my edits or og posts or whatever) .... nor have they reblogged stuff I’ve shared or even given it a little heart. (Haha Psh, I don’t even get tagged in anything!) I talk to one mutual pretty frequently but even with that.... I get ignored....
Obvii I don’t make those posts just for other people; I make them for me because they make me happy! I just love sharing that happy with people. 💓 Idk where I was going with that.... other than saying (despite what I mentioned before):
If anybody actually sees this post & then actually reads it.... thanks for following me. Thanks for at least letting me appear on your feed for a brief moment. Thanks for letting me share my loves with you. 💕
