Aizawa crochets. He makes scarves, little beanies, and gloves. Sometimes, he'll even make little plushies for Eri. The weather is getting cold and he notices his students are shivering? He somehow walks into class the following week with a box of crocheted beanies, all matching his student's hero costumes and tells them to grab the one that matches theirs.

He pins the whole idea on you. Someone asks who made all those beanies? He won't hesitate to point them towards you. Aizawa refuses to be caught— Hizashi wouldn't let him hear the end of it if he knew the truth.

Shinso rats him out. Poor boy spent an unhealthy amount of time at the craftstore during the weekend as Aizawa picked out the right colored yarn.

He sometimes makes you wear the stuff he's making. Is it too big? Too small? Are the colors looking okay?

Someone sent me an ask about how I think Levi and Aizawa would react to you cutting their hair and cleaning up their scruff and I'm so torn between answering it the way I usually answer headcanons or just dropping a fic on the topic for both of them😭

Shota would be very stubborn. Despite his body aching for a moment's worth of rest, he'd find a way to haul himself off bed and get ready to work. Thankfully, however, he has you to ease him back to his pillows and tuck him under the blankets.

He'd complain at first, trying to convince you that he's fine and well enough to push through some work, but he knows it won't work. Reluctantly, he gives in to your soothing words and gentle touches, letting his exhaustion sink into his bones.

The rest of the day would pass in a blur for him, but he remembers you. He remembers the feeling of your fingers brushing through his hair, tying it back in a bun. He remembers the sweet pressing of your lips on his cheek whenever you excused yourself to refill his glass of water. He remembers the sweet melody of your voice as you spoke hushed coos into his ears and the way you'd gently encourage him to sip on the spoonfuls of soup you'd brought up to his lips.

He'd spend the day caught in a feverish state, stumbling between unconsciousness and his few waking moments. Still, in his few moments of clarity, he could see you— his sweet angel with a smile that made his heart flutter. And that was all he ever needed.

Levi wouldn't drop you, as simple as that. Even if he's nursing a cup of tea in his hands, his reflexes would make him drop the cup in order to catch you before he even registers what's going on. His mind shatters along with his beloved teacup. Even after you scramble out of his arms, he's left standing, trying to grasp onto what happened. You, of course, make it up to him by gifting him a new set of tea cups, and he swears he'll make you run until you drop if you dare pull this game again. He's not sacrificing any more tea cups for you, or so he says.

Aizawa wouldn't drop you because he'd go down with you. With him, you have equal chances of either being caught safely or just making the man fall flat on his rear. Regardless of the outcome, your safety comes first, so be reassured that even if you both fall, he'd make sure to take the blow of the fall while protecting your head from being smacked against the floor. Be warned, however, if you make him fall, you'll be staying on the floor with him for a while— he needs a moment to register what happened before he's ready to pick himself up again.

Shota grumbled into his pillow, inky hair cascading over his face. He could be so stubborn.

You tugged at his arms, shaking the man out of his slumber with a pout. "C'mon, I got ready because you said we'd be out of the house early!"

Barely cracking his eyes open, your love peered up at you with sleepy adoration, his lips settling in a lazy smile. "One kiss and I'll be up, promised."

A flutter of warmth tickled your chest as you smiled down at him. He could be such a tease when he'd barely shaken off the night's sleep. You cherished this part of him.

Leaning down, your lips met his in a gentle display of love. He hummed into the kiss, breaking out into a smile. Pulling away left him dazed; a love sick man.

"Okay, I'm awake now." He breathed, finally allowing to be pulled away from his sheets.

My current headcanon for Aizawa?

The man is a hardcore book nerd. He actually goes to Book Club every Saturday, meeting up with some old ladies he once bumped into at a café while having his nose stuck in a book. The ladies bring the sweets, and he brings the coffee. He sometimes invites them over to his place to have their weekly meetings, enjoying how it fills his home with life and joy.

He's read the classics. Jane Austen. Shakespeare. Stephen King. He's got the books nicely lined up on the bookshelf by his living room. But he's also read the classics. Rick Riordan. Suzanne Collins. James Dashner. Yeah, he knows what the kids are into these days, and he has to admit he likes them too. He's passionate about book-to-movie adaptations, though he will restrain himself from going on a rant unless prompted for his opinion. He despises the Divergent movies. He enjoys the Hunger Games, but it hits too close to home.

He enjoys whenever Midoriya pops into class with a new book in hand. The kid might be too long-winded, but you can bet Aizawa will soon be on his way to the bookstore to find a copy of the book Midoriya had talked about.

And meeting you? He couldn't shake the joy that bloomed in his chest when you first entered his home, rushing to the bookshelf the second you spotted it. You spent nearly an hour talking about some books you recognized, pointing out others you'd wanted to read but hadn't had the chance to yet. He was quick to lend you some, as many as you wanted.

Also, his books are carefully annotated and highlighted. He's got a color code for his tabs and highlighters. His writing is carefully scribbled on the pages of every book he owns.

Shota isn't the kind to dress up often, but there are times when he likes to do little things that make him feel a little more put together. Sometimes, these things range from tying his hair up to shaving the little scruffy hairs on his lower face. Recently, however, he's gotten really into scents and colognes. He has you to thank for that. One day, you'd dragged him out of the house in hopes of finding some new candles to decorate the place with and, naturally, he didn't seem too excited about the ordeal, but he could never say no to you. Most of the trip passed by in a blur for him, fully out of his memory, and yet he could never forget the smile on your face when you ran back to him with a new candle in hand. You'd said its scent reminded you of him. To his surprise, he liked it too. The candle now sits comfortably by a coffee table in the living room, and the erasure hero has made it his mission to find a cologne with a similar scent. It didn't take long for him to find something that made him feel nice. He wouldn't tell a soul about this, but he enjoys the moments when you sink in just a little bit deeper into a hug just to catch a whiff of his cologne. The gesture makes him feel all warm inside.

Aizawa wouldn't expect it, honestly. He's tired, stressed, and has most likely forgotten about his birthday— all he'd want is to go home and rest up as much as he could before a new day forced him out of bed. But to open the door to his house after a long patrol and find a new little rascal of a cat roaming around his living room? It might just be the highlight of his day. Tension rolls off his shoulders, and something in his heart feels light as he kneels before his new friend. It's the tag tied to the cat's collar that has 'Happy Birthday' scribbled over it in your handwriting that'd make him crack a smile. Little gestures like those would be the ones he'd appreciate the most. He'd feel loved. He'd be quick to look for you after scooping up the small cat in his arms. It's safe to say that, after thanking you for the gift, he'd spend the rest of the night debating on name for the new addition to the family.

Levi would fuss over the poor thing. He'd appreciate the gesture, but would be an anxious mess while trying to keep his space completely void of cat hair. He'd accepted the little fella with hesitation, grateful yet unsure. He couldn't lie, he'd always wanted a pet but was now really the best time for one? Still, it felt nice to have his birthday celebrated after years of dismissal or avoidance. He'd get annoyed with the little cat, trying to keep them out of his shelves and desk, cleaning up every miniscule mess and getting used to the presence of another. But he'd warm up eventually, just as you'd expected him too. It wouldn't be long after gifting him the small cat that you'd find your captain lying strewn on his couch with his new friend sleeping on top of his chest. He'd make you swear not to tell Hange about that.

OOOOH I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS SO MUCH

I'm a heavy believer that Levi likes instrumental music the most. It's soothing to have something other than words to fill the room and comfort his soul. Sometimes, it helps him sleep, too. It's a nice change from the loud, chaotic life he's been tossed in. At times, though, he'll catch himself humming the tune to one of the more upbeat, rock songs his squads listens to. He despises how catchy those songs are, but there's a nice sense of familiarity that comes with hearing a fragment of a song he relates back to the kids he's grown to care for. Mikasa has caught him several times, sometimes watching as he prepared his tea while mindlessly mumbling the words to a song he'd heard the kids yell the words to. Lucky for him, the younger Ackerman knows how to keep a secret.

I've always pictured Aizawa as a jazz enjoyer. There's something mesmerizing about the smooth melodies of those songs he enjoys so much. It calms him down and grounds him a little more. Mic teases him, saying it's old man music, but he can't care less. It's nice. He likes it. Class 1-A has altered his taste in music, though, and spending time with Shinso has definitely allowed him to venture out into other genres. Nobody believes Mic when he says he once caught Aizawa grading papers while Mario Kart's Coconut Mall theme song played in the background. Kaminari might have influenced him on that one, but Aizawa will take that to the grave.

Let's get one thing straight right off the bat, neither one of them would EVER find your laughter hideous. The sound of your joy is one they could get lost in forever.🤍

Levi mostly hears you giggle softly when your talking with other members of your squad, but the day they he first heard your wild laughter was the day he was sure you had the power to fully disarm his fractured heart. He hadn't quite paid enough attention to what Hange had said to make you laugh, but he was fully enraptured by the wild sputters and hiccups that came with your laughter. For a moment, it made him feel so far from reality— so far from the troubles he'd known for all his life. If freedom had a sound, he swore it was that of your laughter.

Aizawa would be fully caught off guard by your laughter, in all the best ways. It's contagious, it's electric and so shamelessly alive. He loves it to no end. He never considered himself a comedian, but sometimes his deadpan remarks towards Mic seemed to catch you off guard. There was something beautifully rewarding about your laughter— to think he could make such a joyful sound erupt from your lips was enough to melt his heart. It made him feel young again, took him back to the days when he still didn't fully understand what the world was truly like. Your laughter made him feel safe. It reminded him that he still had someone worth living for. Your laughter sometimes ignited his own, and oh, how lovely it was to feel something so warm spread through his chest.
