-Masaki is part of a group of kamikaze but doesn’t really wanna die for his country -Tenma has lost all of his parents and friends and is alone so all he has to do is sacrificing for Japan -Kirino is really nationalist and will proudly die for Japan and his emperor -Hamano asks Kurama to kill him because he couldn’t serve his nation properly -Shindou is a 100% fascist general and wants Japan to take control over western states -Tsurugi lost his brother who, after having lost his legs during a battle, committed suicide because he wasn’t worthy of living anymore, and so is really against the war but nobody listen what he have to say
Bonus: -In the end Shindou commits suicide (seppuku) because Americans are occupying Japan
