The Mighty Nein found themself suddenly directionless, with no employer and a quickly diminishing hope of ever getting their old friend back. The Might Nein still decided on setting out to follow the Tombtakers, with the faintest hope of getting some sort of further closure for Molly, but determined to stop Lucien from doing whatever bad™ thing he might attempt if it puts the continent’s hard-won peace and the people they care about at risk - because who else is going to do it?

I think they’re starting to get the hang of this hero thing.
