So I hate doing this, but I haven't been able to work in a month for a variety of reasons, and I've hit the point where I'm about to run out of savings. I'm hoping I'll be able to start work soon, but I'm also looking to move in a couple months and could really use some extra funds.
So just like, $500? I know everyone is hurting and there's others who need help too, but any amount would help. $500 will get me to a comfortable place to where I can hold out a little longer before I start earning a paycheck again. Once I hit 500, I'll delete this post, promise.
If you like, since I'm a folklorist, I can do a folktale/legend retelling, or tell you about your favorite folk creature or cryptid if you donate. Up to you.
(I do have some n*des I'm willing to sell but DM me for that)

So I just got word that the contracting firm I work for won't have a project to send me to until May at the earliest!
I'm working on applying to other jobs so I can actually make money, and I've signed up to be a doordash driver, but I would really appreciate a little extra help. Actually having money in my account would help me out a lot, especially mentally speaking. Literally any amount would help, I know we're all hurting right now
Previous offers mentioned before still stand. Shit, at this point I'd be willing to give you a knife I've made

I have already been rejected for a cashier job at Target! It hasn't even been 24 hours since I applied! I have years of experience as a cashier but it's fine I guess! This is how my job search went for most of last year, I applied to multiple jobs a week from September 2021 to January 2022 and got 1 interview. Which lead to the position I'm in now.
People claim there's a labor shortage because no one wants to work, but when people actually apply they go "no, not you. We just wanna complain."
Needless to say I could still really use the help, and I'm adding in a picture of myself so folks'll know this is legit.
Please help. On top of it all this entire situation is making me really goddamn depressed

Update 3/11/22: I've applied to 11 jobs already this week and have heard back from 3.
Target, which rejected my application within 24 hours;
A test scoring job, which could guarantee 2 weeks of work at least, 8 at the most, and sounded like a scam at worst, hell for my ADHD at best;
And Five Guys, just now, via an automated system to schedule me for an interview. So I have an interview!
The trouble is because of my CRM job (aka archaeology contract work) I can guarantee working almost full time until April, but come May I cant guarantee how many hours I can work and how short a notice I can give before leaving for site, especially as were entering the busy field season, and that is what is causing a lot of people to not want to consider me. Why hire someone that won't be able to guarantee they can come in for weeks at a time, instead of someone who can reliably provide you a schedule and will come in to work, guaranteed? Plus I try to make monthly trips to Ohio to see my boyfriend, which is something we both need mentally speaking. Companies advertise flexible scheduling, but would rather not use it if they don't have to.
I get it. It sucks, but I get it.
I really appreciate everyone who has donated to me so far. This entire thing has essentially spiked me from hypomania directly into a depressive episode and you all have really helped a lot of keeping my spirits somewhat up and giving me a cushion in all of this.
Please know that if you've donated to me my appreciation of you knows no bounds.

Update 3/14/22: The one interview I managed to get, out of 14 job applications, was just cancelled 🙃 with no way for me to reschedule it. The job market is great right now guys, I am loving this so much. I'm having a great time.
