2. How many WIPs are you actively working on?

i just finished all my parts of call me (which is a 911 lone star co-written fic with @rmd-writes). i'm very excited to see that get finished and posted! aside from that, i'm currently working on:

a. the sequel to the ring-in (currently known as 'the ring-in 2.0' but i'm sure it will get a title soon) (911 lone star). i've been waiting to write this for so long and even getting the first chapter down has been a blast.

b. eurotrip (rwrb). i've said it a million times but this fic just scares me. it's so long and i have so much to go and i keep getting imposter syndrome about it.

c. cause of action (tgm). this is just a passion project - i write it when i feel like it and i have no expectations for it. BUT it's a fic about a law firm so it's very cathartic for me to write, plus i've been hitting the hangster fic hard recently so i'm very inspired.

d. never too late (aka the 10 things i hate about you au) (911 lone star). which is not a wip because i've finished it, but i still need to edit it severely before posting so...it's languishing. it's the new alta. someone go save it (it needs to be me but i simply am avoiding).

(i'm currently trying to do one week ls, one week rwrb and squeeze tgm in when i feel like it).

3. A scrapped idea for your current WIP

i can't really think of one for my current wip but in call me, rae and i had written some very vague ideas for the epilogue, but then after i had written my last part we looked at it, discussed what we thought should be written and what we came up with was...way better than what we had originally put down. i think being able to re-read the fic in its totality and having the vibes of the previous parts were important in assessing the kind of stuff we wanted to close the fic out with 💜

I think I've recc'd this fic before but I couldn't go past it again because it truly was the compilation that made me dive into the liminalmemories box of treasures. I love how precise and careful this writer is with everything she does - every part of this fic felt so crafted and cared for and I was obsessed from the first chapter. Would trust liminalmemories to serve me up anything. Cannot wait for the season 4 version of this fic!

if you have never read this fic, first, go and read it. while you're there, you can see how feral i went in the comment section of it, and you'll get a sense of exactly how unhinged this fic made me. this has to be one of my favourite fics ever in the 911 LS fandom - it's got a lovely narrative, great pining and a fantastic twist. I also just really love carlos to death in this story. it's definitely a comfort read i go back to time and time again.

a VERY fun, very flirty, very funny fic, this one has a twist that will make you seriously question your reading comprehension skills. It has the classic RMD flavour of smut with feelings, AGCD general confusion, great OCs (edit: one in particular), humour and banter wrapped up in lovely storytelling, and it's one of those fics that will just leave a smile on your face. i love this fic dearly, and if you think i'm just saying that because rae is my ride or die then you should read it for yourself and be proven wrong. i'll happily say 'i told you so'.

This has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever read on Ao3, I was like hyperventilating, crying ugly tears of laughter reading this. Shannon has a gift - writing playful, hilarious banter that sounds so on point. TK is such a little shit in this fic - teasing Carlos about road head, offering to be his backup, begging him to think of the taxpayers! I simply cannot with this entire thing, it is sheer brilliance.
