started out as an angle study, ended up as a silly thing.

the sheer amount of references i had to search through to find how to draw the armor from these angles is diabolical, but luckily, due to fat space marine 2 ass, there's now lots of pictures of marines from behind floating on the net, so, im in luck, i suppose!

might color it later, but honestly doubt i ever will

Note: The Power Sword is powerful, but only really good in the hands of a veteran. The Chainsword is more common, and more useful among the majority of Space Marines.

Oh, and Space Marine bikes are basically tanks.

Gene Seed is the most precious resource in the entire galaxy, so that makes sense.

But I love how the Adeptus Rank is considered just as important as the Bolter and Power Sword.

Being Adepts is what lets them tell the Imperium to go and fuck themselves.

The White Scars were unstoppable during the Great Crusade.

They were absolutely essentially to the defence of the Emperor's Palace.

But then, afterwards, you rarely hear about them.

Want to know what?

The Codex Astartes took away their bikes.

Nah-nah. They are the ones that came back.

God, fucking, damnit, the first sentence is a fucking lie.

The one fucking time I try to be nice to the Quebecois. Although to the fair, they are not Quebecois. They are 1,000x better than Quebecois.

One thing history doesn't pay attention to is that many of them came back, and become the most loyal Canadians imaginable. Other than the Japanese, but that's a different story. They basically saw New Orleans and wanted to go back to a place with more stiff upper lippery.

In conclusion:

Acadian + Canadian = Cadian

Cadians are well known for their training and discipline. Which would make sense for them to be Canadian.

They are NOT Vandoos, however. That is a completely different issue.

Death Watch: Tyranid Invasion does a FANTASTIC job of giving the different chapters skills that match their nature.

Blood Angels have abilities that trigger when they kill someone, and Black Rage that is incredibly powerful, but also give them a danger radius.

Space Wolves have hunting and Feral Agility, that dramatically improves their ability to cross the map. Hell, the Lone Wolf can have double Feral Agility, 5 AP, and Charge, and can sometimes, (RNG), cross a map in a single turn.

Ultramarines have what I call "hand holding" skills. These skills improve their abilities when they start a turn next to each other. You can give them all +2 AP, (4 AP is default), heal everyone for 20%, and improve accuracy.

Ultras also have a bunch of stand-still-and-shoot skills, while Blood Angels and Space Wolves have like Beast Slayer, +40% crit, etc.

Re-rewriting the Astartes Codex (chapter supplements). Rogue Trader gave me the bug. It doesn't help that I got to game-stopping design idiocy-induced bug.

Anyways, was actually thinking about the Furioso Dreadnought, and wondered why it had it's own special-purpose ranged weapon. The whole point of Furioso Dreadnoughts is to put an armoured box of fuck-you two feet from the enemy's face. And the answer is because the Codex limits Dreadnoughts simple fist weapons, which is part of the same bullshit that GW pulled with the whole Codex. I mean, here are these super-powerful, super-rare, ultra-space-knights, who have the Emperor-given authority to tell the High Lords of Terra to go fuck themselves, and then take the biggest badass, and...

completely limit his weapon's layout.

Like, we venerate you brother, for all you have given to the chapter, but Guilliman says you're not allowed to use swords anymore.

One of the things I fixed was offering Dreadnoughts a much larger variety of melee weapons, that have a more disparate range of effects.

This means that a model can carry two melee weapons without losing much in the terms of fuck you combat power.

But, there's no reason to shitcan the unique gun. So, the answer was just to give it to regular Blood Angels Dreadnoughts, like Inferno Pistols and Hand Flamers are added to their Pistol lists.
