Murderbot as an NPC in a sci-fi horror game
You encounter it in a safe room. It is watching a media serial. It's client is in a stasis pod awaiting extraction which may take several years to arrive. It will share supplies with you as long as you keep your post traumatic emotional breakdown below .5 decibels. It will not leave the safe room, not because it's scared or forced, but because going outside and dealing with The Horrors isn't explicitly a part of it's contract. In order to get it to hug you, you have to retrieve two things: a media storage stick that slipped under some couch cushions (somewhere) and it's confiscated body armor from a security station locker.
This is actually a case of poe's law. It's a funny portrait of cognitive dissonance, however.
Found this free one-page rpg saved on my iPad from back in early 2020 - which means I definitely did not fully understand the joke then, but it is cracking me up now

What I like about the song "When He Died," by Lemon Demon is it's excess. Just one of the phenomenon occurring after His death would have been enough to establish This Guy's supernatural evil occult credentials. But no, there has to be scorpions in his bones, a prophetic clown painting, statues crying tears of blood and much more! It's like, sweet jeebus, dude, what were you? A chaos arch-heretic from Warhammer 40k? Anyways I like how extra this song is.
