A group of practical yet immature United States Marines on leave from the Okinawa base get into some serious trouble with otherworldly forces.
Also one of the marines is a descendant of Japanese immigrants who came to the U.S. nearly a century ago. And this descendant decides to check out the old derelict village that his great grandparents left long ago.
Also, the story could take place probably in the mid-1980′s with nostalgic references to Japanese and American culture. Miracle decade for the Japanese and Reaganomics for the Americans perhaps...
