Leo is the stoick, responsible and sometimes cold turtle of the bunch. He suffers from a lot of trauma (physical and mental) repercussions and it meant he lost the capacity for many emotions when he had to take on the fatherly tole.

When he met Usagi they wanted to stay in contact, so Donnie went OTT. They only recently made it official.

After two months (give or take) I finally finished it. I am so god damn proud coz it’s like the second ever thing I’ve successfully been able to complete in a digital art style. I LOVE IT! The obsession is still going strong and I’m happy with the way my boys turned out.

TMNT Head Canons (#Leo Edition)

- Leo likes to write Space Hero’s fan fiction. He publishes his work in Ao3 and is active in the fandom whenever he can. But he needs a beta reader and who is the only other person who knows? Me. I’m his beta reader. He writes: self insert, x reader, ships, one shots, AU’s and fix it’s. I read and help him edit all of them. He knows a lot about human anatomy for a turtle. I assume he asked Donnie for some info (if you get my drift) I’m one of his biggest fans despite reading all of it before hand.

- Leo gets nervous when the guys make fun of him for his “crush on captain Ryan” he knows they are only joking but little do they know it isn’t a joke to him. He’s only told me about it becasue he doesn’t know how they would take it plus he’s still trying to come to terms with it all. We talk about it a lot and I help him where I can.

TMNT 2012 Head Canons Pt.3

- Whenever Usagi visits the Turtles (aged down of course, don’t do that) and spends time with Leo he gets anxious about the two of them being romantically involved. If there’s too many people around even Leo’s brother he’ll let go of his hand when he was holding it or he’ll stay a “respectable” distance away. He hates that that’s his reaction but he just isn’t used to it being ok, considering the time period he from.

- Leo writes Space Hero fan fiction, he writes all types: reader insert, slash fiction, AU’s, Crossovers and even fix-its. He was so happy when he found out that a decade dead fandom is still alive and that he can find a community of people that he can bond with who won’t don’t know who he is but loves his work.

- Leo is actually very smart, almost as smart as Donnie but more mathematically inclined and he often helps with April’s (and when Casey could be fucked) homework, he never gets the chance in the spotlight it he’s ok with that because it’s Donnie’s thing.

I stuck to the traditional Italian spellings. I have an Italian background and i studied it in school. Generally for those who don’t know “o” is masculine and “a” Is feminine hence Leonard(o) becomes Leonard(a). Raphael was a little bit harder because it ends in L so I just found the close thing to a feminine name. Same thing for Leo as with Donnie. Now with Mikey, my sister is named Michaela and my grandfather is named Michaelangelo and he was named after her but obviously coz she a girl and my family loves gender stereotypes she got the female version.

This is another Leo I drew as well. I don’t like him that much…I tired but forced myself through burnout and it just didn’t work out the way I hoped so this is what I got.
