Oh my God, Janeway is adorable.

#not sure how many actually find this reductive#but I always liked that Janeway could still be the Captain and everything that entails#and still be genuinely excited about children and families and happy for those around her with children#like her being captain didn't exclude so-called feminine excitement and interest in children and becoming a mother#she reminds me a lot of Sisko in these moments#crew as family#Janeway#VOY#Star Trek: Voyager
