Can we just have a round of applause for the whole Dracula daily fandom? Like we all started reading Dracula, met the actual canon Dracula, and instead of romanticizing his power or deciding he was the new sexy man everyone collectively was like “oh hec no these are not the vibes an old abuser preying on our young heroes??? gross die hit him with a shovel” and it’s just so refreshing to have a bad guy that is just left to genuinely hate. I know there are different opinions on things and lovely paprika debates but at the end of the day we really want our friends to destroy Dracula and win against this manipulative abuser. And I love that for us. And then we got the Renfield movie with Nick Cage having the time of his life being a disgusting bad guy who they purposely didn’t overly sexualize and I think that had to do with us and the growing obsession with Dracula. Anyway just some breakfast thoughts. Hope this makes sense

Why did Dracula come into Jonathan's room?
Funny answer: Dracula is, as we have established, a bit of a comedian. He was just doing a slap-stick routine.
Scary answer: He is pushing more boundaries and seeing what he can get away with. Jonathan didn't even raise the issue of him entering his room without his permission.
Really Scary Answer: Jonathan admits he only slept a few hours before he got up to shave. Dracula might have entered the room expecting Jonathan to still be sleeping.

I finally received Jonathan Harker’s letter today. And my, he’s very considerate.
I don’t agree with the eye-brow raising at other people’s ethnicities and their aesthetics, but besides being obliviously burdened with outdated stereotypes, he is, very much, a “good boi” material.
He’s looking up his client’s background and history of his homeland to forge a good relation and midway thru just taking genuine notes and interest of places of interest for his unrealized dream of being a travel blogger and dedicating what he’s learned to his beloved Mina.
Oh, my!

Still, I hope he enjoys his travels and those delicious sounding dishes. I’m particularly weak against spices myself yet like Jonathan, I would love to try that paprika. Perhaps more. And I am hopeful to have taste of this impletata soon— if I have time, since I consulted the Internet of its recipe and I have half of the ingredients at home! What a delight!
Although, I wouldn’t mind receiving a copy of the native recipe from our good friend Jonathan Harker.
If he deigned to share and won’t be awfully distracted with his new friend “Dracula”, yes?
