ACTUALLY READ THE LEFT TEXT GUYS I- 😭😭😭💜💜💜💜
This, we know. But hearing it from someone in-universe and in such plain words be like-
There is a lot going on in this chapter. And I've screamed enough about it in discord and Twitter, I'll just let the others do the talking.
But
Do you mean to tell me, that Grogu was trained and taught by fully grown Jedi in the way of the force, but not in the way of colors???
I keep it around for luck.

The Mandalorian, 2x05.
This is the greatest thing I've ever lady eyes on. I adore this man goddamn. Such a good dose of serotonin
Some people hate sand, Din probably hates stormy planets with changing wind directions
I was expecting something profound- esp with the first picture but then I scrolled down and yeah it's a meme
BABY WAS IMPOSTER ALL ALONG
SABOTAGE!!!
I don't care about the chin, is it Pedro's? is it not? thing. The little slut got his mouth out infront of his foundling. He is questioning his upbringing internally and experimenting with what he feels comfortable with and that's cute.
I also saw we calling him Chin Djarin and I'm howling.
First time I played Among Us:
Do you think Din Djarin cries in the privacy of his helmet?
One of the things I appreciate a lot about The Mandalorian is that while it firmly knows the type of show it is — which is a fun family show about Star Wars which isn’t trying to do anything particularly deep or intellectual in terms of its writing — it has these little touches (like Boba Fett’s armour clearly not fitting Cobb) which create a sense of verisimilitude. It feels like one of the core values of the show’s creative philosophy is to really get the audience to buy into what is happening and get a sense of the depth and breadth of the universe and characters, and I think the emotional response to the Child is more than just a response to the cuteness of the design but also the character imbued in him both by the masterful puppetry and little moments like this one which communicates something emotional about him that’s just like a real toddler.
Because even though this is the first time we see the Child get into the eggs you can clearly tell it’s something he knows he’s not supposed to be doing because he looks over his shoulder to make sure neither of the adults are around. He knows he’s going to get in trouble for it, he’s being sneaky about it, he’s literally like a baby trying to get into the cookie jar. You get these little touches underneath the dialogue and underneath the plot which let you know what the characters are about and allow you, for example, to see the Child as if he is a real baby with a real personality testing boundaries and seeing what he can get away with just like a real child.
In fact, it almost feels like we are seeing the Child experience some character growth because I don’t know that we would have had him looking over his shoulder last season. There’s none of the genuine bewilderment he had when Din stopped him force choking Cara in 1x07 — he might not understand why he shouldn’t eat the eggs but he definitely knows that it’s something he’s not supposed to be doing. When he was scolded last season he was always either surprised or unresponsive and now we see him getting a sense for what Din does and does not allow and trying to test how much he can push against those boundaries and how to get around them. So although though he’s non-verbal even the Child gets to experience some character development because of this kind of attention to detail.
I love this meta sm. Thanks for putting it into words.
He’s clearly got a temper but not with the little one
