Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji goes back to that tree in Yunmeng again. They figure out something about Suibian. Wei Wuxian confesses that he let go and intentionally fell out of the tree the last time they were there.

Content: Wangxian, fluff, FOOD, some suibian talk, a few drops of blood (literally a few drops, not gory), no plot really just a fluffy snippet of them being them

Walking through Yunmeng again as a member of the Jiang Sect still felt like a dream. With each step he took, Wei Wuxian’s Jiang Sect clarity bell chimed. The bell’s blood red tassel bobbed along with his steps, in perfect synchrony with the matching tassel hanging from Chenqing tucked into his belt. 

Wei Wuxian looped one arm around Lan Wangji’s. His other hand held Suibian. Wei Wuxan had noticed Mo Xuanyu’s golden core was beginning to coalesce and wanted to carry his sword again.

So… a while back, I causally mentioned to @merelhyn that i wanted to translate something just to see how I liked it. She asked me if i had something in mind. When I told her no, she basically jumped on this and said I should translate this. Had it not be over the interwebs, she would’ve waved giant rainbow neon flags and signs to guide me towards this. So… yeah. If you like it, thank her. Also, she did a once-over for me and caught some mistakes. so thank her for that too! ^_^

I’ll also be posting the version of the document with the chinese and my commentary as a separate post… because i think that’s probably more valuable/interesting to see where my brain was and where this amateur translator is probably failing?

I could raise you above my head and he tries and they topple over into their bed but it’s alright bcs there’s no way Wei Ying would hurt Lan Zhan and they both know it.
