the way that i had to stop myself from writing like an essay-length response to this because i am SO not normal about Morsel and Julian,,,,

SO Julian is the owner of a small occult shop that he inherited from his grandparents; she's been doing some odd jobs for him since before the campaign started but at the time they weren't like particularly close or anything,,,,, but after she woke up in the junkyard and started asking increasingly weird questions about magic/folklore/etc, he was let in on the secret that magic is real and all that jazz; he got pretty involved in all the weird stuff Evan and Morsel are constantly doing,,,,,,,, turns out that his family is actually a pretty esteemed wizard family that used to be part of the mage council but his parents were killed in a politically motivated murder, which Morsel, Julian and Evan are trying to figure out who might've been behind because well,, Julian has no clue as his memories of the last decade (at least) have been tampered with,,, so the poor man is going through it atm,,,, But anyway Morsel has pretty much moved into his place rn because it's magically warded and a lot of people want her dead by now : ) and they're just,,, they're so sweet,,,,, practically act like a married couple although none of them has like shown romantic interest in the other,,,,,,, constantly supporting each other,,,, they're co-parenting a tressym called Salem,,,,, she's learning his native language,,,,,, he watches titanic with her when she's sad,,, they're just being very sweet,,,,,

as for the height different, i actually don't know !! morsel is 167 cm but idk about julian, he's just very tall and lanky,,,, picks her up when she's being particularly pathetic

anon u have no idea how excited this ask made me, i love talking about my girl SO much aaaah !!!!

to give everyone a bit of context, the setting for the dnd game i play her in is like early 2000s NYC where a magical society exists in parallel to the mundane/normal society; so a big chunk of the plot has been about Morsel and Evan (the other PC) learning how to navigate a once familiar city that is now full of secrets... and making sooo many enemies in the process lmao

but ANYWAY she's a 27 year old horror movie star that got involved with the wrong production studio; at the beginning of the campaign she woke up in a junkyard where her body had been unceremoniously dumped, and with the help of Evan, an investigative journalist who has been looking into his mentor's disappearance (and the kidnappings he was investigating before going missing), she has slowly gotten some of the memories back from the time she spent working with the production studio! Turns out she's been in some rather gnarly snuff movies that, essentially, part of the magical government has allowed to exist in an effort to sort of appease demons and other violent creatures so they do not cause too much trouble,,, so essentially she's been killed and resurrected again and again on film, so she's not having a good time getting used to the idea of being slightly dead

she's a lot of fun to play because she always makes some exceedingly bad choices haha! has a bad tendency of getting involved with people who actively tries to kill her,,,,

idk how many backstory tidbits i can share because i don't wanna spoil it for the other player BUT a theme of her character arc is very much about breaking violent cycles! She's got a lot of guilt and shame and resentment that she really needs to deal with; has a strong belief that love is conditional, that everything needs to be a transaction,,,
