I can’t get over how Mordo tells us that dreamwalking is this awful, evil spell that only corrupt magic-wielders use, and then we watch Wanda use it to get her kids some ice cream. Is this your villain, Marvel?

Wanda never fully succumbed to the Darkhold’s manipulation over her. We see it in small glimpses throughout the movie: she has multiple opportunities to kill both Wong and Stephen, and each time chooses not to. We see it through her inability to lie. We especially see it in her interaction with Billy and Tommy, when she tells them: “I would never hurt you. I would never hurt anyone.” That was Wanda shining through the Darkhold, and it was Wanda who finally destroyed it: “I opened the Darkhold. I have to close it. No one will ever be tempted by the Darkhold again.”
