Random Borderlands Headcanon #11

Everyone knows that Zane Flynt knows quite a few of the Crimson Raiders (Zer0, Moxxi, etc.) from previous encounters, but no one realizes how far it goes.

He knew Salvador because he used to visit Ovejas when they were both younger. Zane was good friends with Sal's grandma.

He knew Athena because he was hired to assassinate her back before the Pre-Sequel. Took one look at her and decided to go have a drink instead.

He knew Claptrap from one of his many visits to Fyrestone. He and Dr. Zed used to drink together.

He knew Gaige because he was asked to be a guest judge in the science fair (the one where Marcie Holloway was subsequently turned into red goo).

Met Roland when the two of them happened to go fishing on Pandora sometime. Clicked surprisingly well.

Zane is a people person.
