old timey gays. i need ur advice. when ppl talk about hanky code/carabiner flagging/etc, and they say that left and right mean different things, is that talking about how other people see it or where it is on your body?? like what if i wanna wear a hanky but in a contemporary way, like tying it around my leg or putting it through a belt loop instead of putting it in my back pocket, would it be like my left or how the person looking at me sees left ??
