I’m seeing people reblogging my latest melody and showing interest in beepbox and honestly I couldn’t be happier!! It can be a bit difficult to navigate the first time but it’s something you get the hang of overtime. And uh again, it’s a free browser software. Tf

Wanna give a quick tip for anyone who’s interested. When you click the customize instrument button, near the bottom you will see button called effects, there you can do a lot of fun stuff w the sound like panning, distortion, echo etc. I didn’t know about this feature when I first started out and it honestly added sm to my work lol

Edit: might be also good to know, the way you save your progress is by saving it as an url link (you can save it as a shortened version so it’s not a huge block of text). This means that the song is saved in the state it was in when you copied that url, and using that link will take you to that version, even if you have worked further on it. This also means that if you’re unhappy with something in its current state, you can use a previous link and get your melody in its previous state. What I’m saying is, keep your links somewhere in chronological order!!!

Working on some music again, this time I want to show the transition from chrome music lab to beepbox

#it’s kinda incredible that you can get so much creativity out of such a limited program lol #I’m enjoying this one a lot so far. I feel like this could be one of my better melodies if I just cook w it a bit more #trying to make a stronger melody this time. Hi hello anon!! The program I'm mainly using is GarageBand, otherwise I have used some free browser based programs like beepbox and chrome music lab. I don't use a lot of samples really, in my latest one I used wave sounds that I found on beepbox, but otherwise I don't really know where to get good samples sorry :]

#i know there are a lot of good programs out there buta lot of them are expensive lol #all of the programs i use are free or came installed into the macbook when i bought it #which is honestly insane. GarageBand is really good for being something just??? preinstalled on the puter???#maybe sometime can comment here if they know good places for samples?#inviting all sample knowers into this post right now ‼️‼️
