You, and the people surround yourself with are a virulent nest of self righteous scum. At every fucking turn you are confronted with obvious obscenities within the fabric of your being, that require only the briefest moments of self reflection to realize. I sincerely hope you realize these grievous wrongs you have wrought, and take steps to fix the them. But you will not, you stupid fucking imbecile

You deserve no apologies. You sit now in the aftermath of your own disgusting actions. The last of the company that surrounds you are deviants and the guilt ridden, and soon they too will realize your gross and leechlike nature, and abandon you in your sopping puddles of self pity. Rot, you disgusting little urchin.

If you're having a bad day, just remember that it's going to be winter soon and imagine what will happen to all the Cybertrucks ❤️

Salt-rusted unprotected steel panels... Meltwater getting into poorly constructed and poorly isolated electronics... Stuck in snowdrifts that a real truck would have been able to deal with... Oh, those are indeed happy images. Yes indeed...

It's winter in the US is anything happening to all the cybertrucks

No snow here yet. Lots of Cybertrucks in my area, so I’ll keep an eye out.

Keep us updated I am so curious to see how they handle Normal Weather

There should be Cybertruck Winter, like Fat Bear Week. Where we see which cybertrucks fall first and which ones make it to the end in usable condition.

Dispatch from the far northern hemisphere and have witnessed a Cybertruck in the winter wilds.

We're early enough into the snow season in that the damage isn't obvious. My guess is that exposure to road salts are really going to destroy these ambulatory dumpsters, but we won't start to see that until spring. Road salt is difficult to impossible to get off in a regular car wash, and we know that Cybertruck can't handle even that.

On the one I saw, any metallic shine that the Cybertruck had was completely lost in a combination of cold winter temps, light street grunge, and lower ambient sunlight. It was the same color as my friend's early 2000s silver pickup truck. One of the big draws, imo, is that stainless steel panelling and to see it turn into the same shade of grey as one of the most popular truck colors twenty years ago would be disappointing to me. It's not special anymore.

Local Cybertruck enthusiasts who are salty dogs at winter driving have started vinyl wrapping their automotive basket cases. The trend seems to be to go from the door windows down, which gives them a beach cooler vibe that is similarly underwhelming.

They’re already having issues! The head lights are sunken in for some reason. This means there is a shelf to hold snow in front of the lights and block them.

Now, every car has to have the snow cleared off the headlights before you drive, but this is way worse. That shelf collects snow as you drive. People have to pull over and clear the snow off mid-drive because they lose their headlights.

WHY ARE THEY BUILT THAT WAY

literally fuck companies that don't want their employees to act "unprofessional" in front of customers. I'm at a five guys rn and the employees here are joking around calling orders back and forth to each other and saying things in weird voices and laughing with each other while they work. Someone just came in for their shift while I was waiting for my food and was greeted by the whole kitchen with a secret handshake lookin thing. It was so silly and cute I love seeing ppl have fun at work and I know my food's gonna be bomb bc the ppl there are having fun with each other. Let employees be people and friends and have fun what is the issue!!!!

Hate to be the guy who takes this post very seriously but the reason bosses don’t like this and don’t encourage it is because what follows is talking about wages and treatment at work and then unionizing lol

a company's worst nightmare is when you are friends with your coworkers

This is also why they say shit like, "Gifting your coworkers things is Wrong and it will Ruin your Integrity and we can't have that!!"

They know your allegiance becomes your crew and not them and thus you might mutiny.

"Ok, ma'am that'll be $226.03."

I take my wallet out of my pocket and unfold it. It is empty other than a single moth that lazily flies out. The moth lands on the tap point of the card reader. There's a beat, and my payment is processed. The moth flies back into my wallet and I put it back in my pocket.

Been hearing this is a problem again. Don't be a dick in bookmarks, folks. And yes while I made this image, I'm giving free reign. Take it. Spread it far and wide. Because I'm hearing that some readers don't know that their bookmarks are visible.

Tip for authors: you know you can not read those, right? Like, I have fics that have been bookmarked many times, and yet I have never read any of the attached commentary because I just went "ah, bookmark, neat" and then I didn't click on or investigate it. You can turn the email updates off for bookmarks. You can live in blissful ignorance.

It's not the same as a comments section, you know this, so why treat it like one? Readers are allowed to use the bookmark system as designed for their own filing and you are allowed to look if it's public, but you're also allowed to not look. It doesn't go to your inbox like a comment. You gotta seek it out.

It's not the reader's job to ensure that you never, ever encounter any negative feedback, especially when it's on their profile and you only found it by being nosy.

It's permanently affixed to their work, the creation of their hobby. It's a public link, on their own account. I'm not saying lie and gush about a fic. If an author asks for concrit, sure! Give it! You have a filing system? Use it! But commenting rude shit then saying "Well you're not allowed to look at this link publicly attached to the work you spent hours and hours on". I don't look at my bookmarks either- but you don't see me defacing someone's car because they drive like an asshole. I do not get emails for bookmarks, or comments, any of that. But how I choose to use the Archive and how I interact with my own work is not the same way others do. I'm asking for manners. You're telling people not to look at their own posted works because someone feels entitled to be cruel about freely given art.

Also, that's a bit like saying "You know you can just ignore bullies, right?"

Insisting that authors ignore bookmarks and placing the blame on them for finding negative comments about their own work when looking through (knowing also that readers might leave positive feedback for them) feels more than a bit unfair, especially when the mechanism is there for readers to make their bookmark notes private.

The walk away rule doesn't apply as easily here since bookmarks aren't a third party entity we can block or remove from our awareness and get on with our day. Those comments are permanently attached to work--sometimes deeply personal expressions of identity, always labours of love--that we decided to share in case others might enjoy them.

This whole attitude of "you put it into the world and therefore can't be upset when people are mean about it" is like saying "you came to school and therefore can't be upset by bullies because you decided to let them see you."

Fandoms are communities where the whole purpose is to create and share with and for one another. Why is it, when people ask for a little bit of kindness and consideration, there's always a comeback of "have you considered not letting it get to you"?

We've tried. It still hurts. Now we're asking.

There seems to be some confusion about just how accessible the bookmarks are for authors to find. This is from my Ao3 dashboard. Not a reader's profile.

Bookmarks, just like comments and kudos, are accessible through a link that becomes permanently attached to the fic itself. Forever. There's no way to remove it unless the comments are explicitly death threats or hate speech against a marginalized community.

i had a dream recently that i posted on tumblr about me speeding and then the cops found it and used it to get me a speeding ticket and then i contested the ticket by pulling up another tumblr post where i claimed i did 9/11 and my point was that i make shit up on tumblr all the time and as such all of my tumblr posts should be inadmissible and this case should be dismissed but it had the opposite effect and the judge sentenced me to over 3000 life sentences for the people.i killed when i did 9/11
