Grell leaned on Angelina's freezing touch — missing the warmth that it once had, a painful reminder that ground her on the fact that she, Angelina, is just as dead as her.

Tears pricked on her eyes as she looked up at the woman, she despised the fact that deep inside her unbeating heart, she wished for this to happen for an indeterminable amount of time. She wanted nothing but to see her once again. She wanted to kiss her and apologize for everything she had done, to embrace her, instead of laying alone on the sheets that forever left a dent on her bed as if it was begging for Angelina's presence once again.

Grell wanted it all back — she knows that she can't, and this drove her insane. Angelina was right here, looking down at her; The warm light of the fireplace cradled her silhouette, etching every feature of hers that she loved about her — making Angelina even more beautiful.

Othello is most likely lost and searching for Grell, she can't stay — not when she knows that the silver haired jerk would want her to fall for his schemes. She knows that using Angelina was just a ruse to get her on Undertaker's side. Grell wished that she could do just that; to decide with reckless abandon and discard everything just to get Angelina back.

Grell wondered how Undertaker must've done this achievement of bringing the dead back to life; she had to admit that it was fascinating albeit imperfect. She thought about how Angelina's body was dug up and cut open — it was a showcase of vulnerability to the highest degree, and she couldn't help but feel like it disrespected Angelina's forever rest and she seethed at the thought.

More so, it disturbed her wounded heart which she barely was able to keep whole. Seeing her again shook Grell to the core.

She pushed herself up, wiping away the tears that fell on her face long ago. The weight on her shoulder was overwhelming and it pushed against her mercilessly, urging her to go back to the sofa.

Wanting Angelina back would be too selfish of her; it was all her fault in the first place. She was the one who killed Angelina, that was the truth and nothing could change that.

Grell looked back at the woman once again, who was convincing her and muttering every thought Grell wishes to act on.

But then, Othello called out for her in the hallway, waking Grell up from her trance.

Her body acted on its own, walking towards Angelina and pulling her in a deep, torturous kiss.

The kiss was such a bad idea because it only proved how every fibre of her being ached for Angelina.

Yet, Grell pulled away and set her sights on the door and walked out — every step was painful but she had to.

The woman who managed to hold and cradle her lifeless heart deserves the courtesy of a goodbye kiss.

It's the least that she could do.
