Tipu's Tiger Spoils of the Fourth Mysore War of 1799, an automaton depicting a tiger taking a bite out of a redcoat. It was built for Tipu Sultan. The British East India Company and allied forces, led by Arthur Wellesley (later Lord Wellington), won the war after it became clear that Napoleon was neutralized in Egypt. Tipu died fighting. This toy has now made its way to the V&A Museum. London, UK.
