Headcanon that Yuuri really likes house plants and succulents and fills his and Viktor's apartment with them, in the rooms, on the tables and window ledges, everywhere And Viktor doesn't really understand it because why have plants when they have A DOG but since Viktor loves Yuuri he will do his best to make sure Makkachin doesn't knock over one of the plants or else Yuuri will get Very Sad And Yurio sees their apartment fill up slowly, and he thinks it's kind of ridiculous, but he also likes the pop of color and plants remind him of Otabek too somehow And Yuuri himself takes a lot of care to educate himself about the plants beforehand like "Yuuri could you move this Kelly--" "Viktor, it's called a Kalanchoe not a Kelly, and no, it really likes the sunlight" And Yuuri's able to use his time taking care of them as a bit of relaxation time too, and Viktor and Yurio know he needs that, so they grow to love having the plants around the apartment.
