Look at him, in the context of a universe where social divide is less prominent and where he's given the same opportunities as his Pilltovan peers he's an accomplished socialite with a strong, healthy group of close friends that don't need to waste their talents to survive anymore, which gives him plenty of time in pursuing a romantic relationship with anything that moves (notice the clones in the background going for both a man and a woman) rather than spend all his days killing himself with overwork in order to save as many people as possible in the limited amount of time he has.
