So I’ve been thinking about autistic Quentin Quire and it just makes more and more sense to me.

• An irregular empathy; where they have an extremely limited understanding of how others feel, even when they know what they think. There has been a few instances of them expecting praise from people who were actually angry with them (wasn’t able to process how the others would feel about it) and also a very set ideal of morals that they have a hard time understanding and accepting others not following. 
• A special interest in social justice to the point where they physically cannot will themself to avoid talking about it.
• Other hyper-fixations that allow them to be extremely well-versed and intelligent in certain areas, such as inventing the mobility technology for Martha.
• A sense of identity that can be unfixed and tumultuous, shown in their fixation with how they are seen by others and creating a certain kind of image of themself and in their origin arc (also ties into mental illnesses)
• The extreme reaction to being told they were adopted in their origin arc could also have been exacerbated by a struggle with changes in routine
• Trans and non-binary coded, which is very common in autistic people
• zero understanding of boundaries, or at least the reasoning behind them
• unique style of dress (a preference of shorts over pants even in cold weather–sensory thing maybe?)
• in a&o talking excitedly about his construct to roxy and completely failing to recognize that she is obviously uninterested
• aversion to exercise
• this quote: “It’s no fun being lonely, is it? You do things you regret when you’re lonely. Act out. Try to hurt people. You’re not a bad soul. I can see that. You just don’t know quite how to express yourself. You’re different. You’re a mutant. Nobody understands you. Sometimes you don’t even understand yourself. If only I knew someone else who was like that?”
