the thing about writing is that people who aren't writers seem to think it's this super cool creative thing like we sit down in a Starbucks with our laptops or notebooks and a soy vanilla latte and make up magical worlds but the reality is we drink five espressos in a row in our bedrooms, go into a trance state wherein the demons of our fictional characters possess us, and wake up five hours later with words we swear we didn't write and a plot that's about 26 degrees south of the plan we spent eight hours meticulously detailing the day before
This Life We Live - Sneak Peek
So I mentioned a little while ago that because the sequel won’t be ready until my exams are over I might do a sneak peek. So, er, guess that’s what I’m doing. Thank you everybody for your patience with me, and I’m really sorry that I wasn’t able to get the finished thing to you when I originally wanted to.
But yeah, enjoy!
I read This Game We Play a few days ago and I loved it so much. It's such an engaging and catching story and gets me so emotional like damn I can't put my thoughts into words right now. So grateful you wrote it, I wanna kiss you (it is if you'd let me) Thank you ♥
Aaah, I dunno where this sudden influx of TGWP love is coming from but it is an awesome thing to come home to lemme tell you. Thank you so much, that’s super sweet of you, I’m really glad you enjoyed it!
And kisses are always acceptable give them all to me
hey i realize you probably won't write that series anymore but i just wanted to say that i read 'this game we play' straight through and i loved it!! your practical magic sq au was also perfect; i read that a while ago and could never find it, until i stumbled across your other fic today and checked out your ao3 account and found it. so thanks for the amazing fics!!
Hey! Thank you so much that really means a lot to me.
I actually am still planning on publishing the sequel, it’s just unforeseen circumstances pushed it back and now I have exams left right and centre. So yeah it will be happening, if people still want it, just a lot later than I was originally hoping for.
But anyhoo thanks again, it’s always such a lift to hear someone likes my fic :)
When we will get new fics from you? I miss your histories!
Hey, I keep meaning to apologise because I know I am terrible, and I promised I would have stuff up ages ago and I didn’t, but the long and the short is that my life just got really fucked for a while and I’m still trying to deal with a lot of real life shit.
But yeah, thank you :) and I am still working on stuff and I swear I will be posting again ASAP. I’ve got lots of things really close to finished it’s just about giving that final push of time and inspiration at this point.
Updates and what have you
*peaks head round dash*
So hellooo. I'm sorry I've sorta gone AWOL. Basically January was a mess for me, my life sort of felt like it was collapsing around me and I haven't been all that mentally healthy.
However, I'm still about, and will probably be returning properly soon when I have everything really back together again. And I'm still writing, so I'm hoping to deliver Part 1 of the sequel fairly soon too, I'm so sorry I couldn't get it out when I promised. I've just been delayed on everything by unforeseen breakdowns.
Much love and shippiness

Summary:
Love in the Swan family is a little difficult, seeing as their ancestor Maria cursed all who ever love them to die - and none know it better than Emma Swan. With two dead parents, and a dead husband, all Emma wants is a quiet life and to finally be free from heartbreak. But loving a Swan woman is a dangerous thing, and unfortunately for Emma there’s a little boy and a beautiful woman in her life who seem determined to do just that.
Notes:
I wanna say massive thank yous to everyone who’s cheered me on this time around, it’s helped more than you know. Also to our wonderful mods for once again giving me the motivation to get off my ass. You guys are the greatest.
Most importantly I want to thank my fantastic beta ohthesefeelingz, who once again has put up with my nonsensical ramblings and appalling grasp of grammar. The woman is a star.
Shout out to the Cristina to my Cristina because she knows my soul, and she’s always there come D-Day.
Official announcement that I have started writing the sequel to 'This Game We Play'. I still have a Big Bang fic to write but after that I'll be giving the sequel my full attention. However the point is that it's definitely coming, buses and ninjas providing, of course.

Summary: A Murder. A Visitation. A Family Dinner.
When the citizens of Storybrooke are shaken by a mysterious but deadly invite, Emma finds herself heading up the investigation on a seemingly unsolvable case. But with her ever-blossoming friendship with Regina moving forwards, and her relationship with her mother moving backwards - not to mention the fact Ruby’s stopped talking to her - the Sheriff of Storybrooke would probably rather face the strange spirits invading her town than the troubles of her own personal life.
I wasn’t gonna reblog my own one, but this is just a quick plug for the mix. It’s a great mix, and ‘Tether’ is so perfectly fitted to my story I’m crying a lil.
So whether you read the fic or not, please make sure to give my artist jay-sanch some love.
