If you aren’t exclusively attracted to the same sex don’t fucking call yourself gay.
Then stop using the terms gay marriage, gay rights, gay bars, gay pride, and gay community when you mean LGBT+ or same-sex. Stop saying “lesbian and gay organization” to refer to LGBT+ organizations – looking at you, pflag! If you don’t want gay to be an umbrella term, stop using it as one.
You can’t force the label gay on bi and pan people against our will and then complain when we use it. It doesn’t work like that.
Would you rather: Always wear your superhero costume or be naked all the time?
We’re just a couple kids, we can’t handle this.
Effie Trinket + not being oblivious to the Capitol’s true nature
“I’m not sure. I just wanted to hold them accountable, if only for a moment,” says Peeta. “For killing that little girl.”
“This is dreadful.” Effie sounds like she’s about to cry. “That sort of thinking … it’s forbidden, Peeta. Absolutely. You’ll only bring down more trouble on yourself and Katniss.”
No but I would just like to talk about the fact that Sherlock was on Mary's side like that entire ep. The first thing he did when he saw her at CAM's was to offer to help her. And even though she shot him, and even though he nearly died, he knew that she'd actually saved him and that she was in trouble. So he defended her to John, was adamant in his insistence that she was still Mary and the woman John loved and that he could trust her.
He still pretty much sacrificed himself in the end for Mary.
He so easily could have thrown her under the bus at any point in any way - in her relationship with John, or with the law. He had the power in his hands to take her life one direction or another. And he chose to protect her, at great personal cost.
Now I am certain that was at least in part for John's benefit as well, but no one can tell me after that episode that Sherlock doesn't fucking love Mary too. Because he does - not romantically of course - but he fucking loves her. And their friendship is so beautiful and literally as important as his and John's now and have I mentioned how fucking thrilled I am they've done this instead of making her a whiny third-wheel who hates him.
Sorry but this has to be done
