TLDR Joshua, a disillusioned son of a dangerous cultist, has fully embraced his role as a fake prophet, and uses his religious position to manipulate everyone around him. Ollie, who was raised in the cult, has been chosen to be Joshua’s blessed servant when Joshua takes to touring the country performing “healing rituals”. Ollie is forced to endure Joshua’s wild moods and sadistic appetites, tortured every step of the way with Joshua’s manipulation that Ollie’s unhappiness is only evidence of his lack of faith.
