December 2, 2003: Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) is released on DVD and VHS.

The film was a tremendous bestseller, with 11 million copies sold in its first week. Not counting international releases, this is also the only Pirates of the Caribbean film released on VHS.

This two-disc set contains over 10 hours of special features including numerous behind the scenes documentaries and featurettes, deleted scenes, commentaries, and more.
