November 15, 2005: DreamWorks' Madagascar (2005) is released on DVD and VHS.

This is the second to last DreamWorks Animation film released on VHS and it is the only Madagascar film released on the format.

In addition to the regular bonus features on the DVD, both DVD and VHS releases feature the Penguins short film "A Christmas Caper" and an "I Like To Move It" music video (though some DVD copies only had the music video).

The VHS release of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1994)

Despite its less than stellar theatrical release, the film became a huge bestseller on home video and a beloved cult classic and is now considered one of the best Batman films.

November 12, 2002: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) is released on DVD and VHS.

The film was one of the best-selling DVD releases of 2002, with over 4 million copies sold in its first day. This was also the last Star Wars film to be released on VHS in the US.

The DVD features over six hours of bonus material including commentary, deleted scenes, many behind the scenes documentaries and featurettes, and more. In addition to six of the deleted scenes, the VHS also features an exclusive featurette titled Star Wars Connections.

November 8, 2005: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) is released on DVD and VHS.

This is the last Tim Burton film released on VHS.

In addition to the standard DVD, a two-disc special edition DVD was also released with bonus features.

November 5, 2004: DreamWorks' Shrek 2 (2004) is released on DVD and VHS.

This is the last Shrek film and the only DreamWorks sequel to be released on VHS.

In addition to the many bonus features on the DVD, both the DVD and VHS releases also feature the short film Far Far Away Idol.

November 1, 2002: Spider-Man (2002) is released on DVD and VHS.

The film is one of the best-selling DVD releases of all time, selling over 7 million copies in its first day and 19.5 million sold overall in addition to 6.5 million VHS copies.

In addition to the film, this 2-disc set includes loads of bonus features including behind the scenes documentaries, commentaries, trailers, music videos (one of which "Hero" is also featured on the VHS), and more.
