day 2 | eddie munson x reader (1.5k)

Eddie Munson doesn’t know why he agreed to this. He’s been cursing himself since the moment he parked the car and heard the holiday music blaring across the building. He hesitates when he steps out, wondering how he can convince you to grab some food at the diner instead. But you’re quick, quicker than him in this instance, at least. Your mitten-clad hand grabs ahold of his bare one and you impatiently pull him towards the building. Eddie resists for a moment, but you certainly don’t relent — you don’t even notice.

“C’mon! We gotta get our skates! I hope they still have my size,” you tell him, dragging him up to the entrance. “I like to think I’m a little unique, Eds, but my feet? Totally average,” you babble. “They always run out of my size first. At the mall, at the roller-rink, the bowling alley. I bet the ice rink is no exception.” Eddie grunts, trying to pull ahead so he can be a gentleman and get the door for you but you’re already yanking it open in your excitement. But still, he grabs it high to hold it. You duck beneath his arm and slink into the rink.

I hereby sentence Eddie Munson to death by a thousand and one kissies, as punishment for having the sheer audacity of being so beautiful inside and out that it physically hurts. He has shown no remorse for his crimes and so this seems fitting.

The date of his 'execution' shall be considered upon review.
