You know how you said you weren’t great with romance…but you were good at love? I suspect I’m kind of bad at both. You’re better at it than you might think.

it’s easy to say that i left as kate and came back as batwoman. the truth, though, is that i left as your lost little girl and came back knowing exactly who i am. i came back as kate kane.

One thing I love about Diana is that she’s still learning. She makes mistakes and learns from them. She’s not the perfect hero that we always see in the movies, she’s as human as any of us.

Anyway, I loved Man of Steel and I loved Batman vs Superman and I loved Justice League and yes it's possible to love all three even if you recognize that Justice League is not everything it could have been. But goddamn seeing all these characters together and actually acting like a fucking team that likes one another and needs one another was everything to me.

“You can criticize something you love!”

Yeah, and you can also get tired of criticizing something you love. You can get completely fed up with it and decide, “You know what? Flaws aside, I love this thing, and I don’t have to waste hours of my life admitting its flaws to strangers on the Internet in order to somehow justify my love of it.” You can get sick of watching others gleefully tear it apart, for no reason other than that it’s popular and they hate that you love it. You can get sick of watching others tearing it apart with good intentions, too.

In the end, it’s just a cartoon, or a book, or a movie. It’s not that serious, and you can enjoy it without hyper-focusing on its flaws. You don’t need to justify your love of something to someone else, least of all a person you don’t even know.

i loved Justice League. i loved Justice League so much that as i was watching it, the only thought i could form was “holy shit i’m enjoying every single second of this, how is it possible”. and you know what? it’s alright if some people didn’t like it. it’s alright if the critics still shit on the DCEU or if fans found it lackluster, or if you hated the cgi, the plot, the characters. i loved it and that’s enough. it’s so goddamn FREEING knowing you don’t need others’ approval to enjoy something so much you actually love it and are proud to have been in some way or another, even just as a viewer, part of it. i can’t wait for what’s to come

My favorite thing about Justice League is that they are honestly this weird little family that just works. Bruce and Diana are literally decades divorced parents who get along great and have figured out this co-parenting thing. Barry and Vic are their sons who are BFFs even though they're total opposites. Arthur is the grumpy drunk cousin with a heart of gold. Clark is the favorite uncle who you can call to pick you up when you're too drunk to drive home and will give you good advice about relationships.

Also, everyone likes mom the best, including dad, because of course they would.
