I was looking at one of my grandpas old guns and my moms boyfriend was like “it’s a cute little gun, you could get one that’s hot pink”

I’m just…….. bruh. I am head to toe in men’s clothes, wearing a literal flannel, unshaven and I have short hair 😭

yesterday I freaked out bc a pimple I had hadn’t come to the surface and I was like damn here it is….. testosterone acne I’m going to have to see a derm. And then I bought a bunch of stuff for differin treatment and when it arrived I realized the pimple had surfaced and was in fact a whitehead and not nodular or cystic acne 😭

#but now I have stuff if it does become a problem#my sister had awful acne on T so I live a little in fear#but my acne wasn’t bad my first puberty and so far it’s been pretty similar#like more than when I wasn’t on T but manageable

wait one of my last conversations with my grandpa was me telling him about the blackstone we got because i wanted to learn to grill and he said 'a blackstone is not a grill' fjdkalfs he said he wished he could see it as grilling bc it seems fun, but grilling has to involve the annoyance of handling charcoal

and my response was 'but you see, i can make pancakes on it. and fried rice.'

i think my final rating for veilguard is a 5/10. solidly mid... super fun to play through imo, but the storytelling is paper thin and the handwaving of a lot of the world's established conflict to hammer it down to some good vs evil thing is... disappointing

#dav critical#like... a lot of the lore retcons have me just seeing the first few games setting as something entirely separate#also they truly did just say all of the south is Gone Gone fdskalfja#i honestly think i would have enjoyed this more if it was a different IP bc it was a fun time#but not anything i want from a DA game#and i did not love how gender was handled

I’m at the end of Act 2 of DAV and I want to say that so far my biggest concern (among many others unfortunately) is that the devs treat previously established lore as a major inconvenience.

Sometimes it even comes out to me as spiteful?? It’s like they were rolling their eyes when implementing some of the world-building decisions and disregarding others… Maybe I’m imagining things, I really want to. I’ll definitely finish the game first and then come up with more thorough review.
