Title: Day Out with the Corries

Prompt: accidental child acquisition

Summary: Hound and Mass find themselves saddled with a senator’s kids.

"You there. Clone."

Hound and Mass turned to see a Zabrak man striding toward them down the landing platform with two young children in tow. The man wore expensive brocade robes and heavy gold jewelry. The younglings looked well-dressed too.

"Here comes trouble," Mass said over the in-bucket comms.

"I have a meeting with the Marshal Commander of the GAR," the man said. "My wife got called away to an emergency meeting with her constituents, my babysitter commed in sick, and I can't take these two with me to my meeting."

"I'm not sure what you want us to do about that," Mass said.

Corrie Week Day 3 - "You Don't Belong Here"

The “Old Hags” stitch ‘n bitch group is a regular sight in Dex’s cafe and has been since about two days after it’s establishment. Dex keeps the caf flowing and the biscuits piled up, and the group ensure his cafe is decorated with intricate bunting, table runners and random plushies for the kids to take home at all times.

The addition of the young clones of the Coruscant Guard had been an entirely welcome one, and Yarn takes pride of place beside Nanny May at the booth with the most comfortable cushions.

He’s merrily working away on his latest gift; a moss stitch scarf in a beautiful forest green bantha-blend yarn when the group walk in. He doesn’t even raise his head, lost in the flow of twisting his hook, yarn under, pull through, and the cheerful conversations all around him.

He does notice, however, when the conversations come to an abrupt stop, at the same moment one of his siblings cries out in a sound he knows far too well.

“Sir, can you come to the front desk? There’s, uh, there’s a Jedi here to see you.”

Looking up from frowning at his afternoon schedule, Fox redirected his frown at his comm. Widget was more than competent to deal with any queries that came via the front desk, and he and the other Coruscant Guard had an unofficial—and, as far as they knew, undiscovered—ongoing effort to avoid asking Fox for assistance if they could possibly avoid doing so. Some well-meaning but less than ideal concept of “protecting” him.

(Fox wanted to let them believe that they could for as long as he could. They didn’t need to know that the worst things came in golden packages, and not via yelling civilians.)

However, despite his message, Widget didn’t sound worried and hadn’t used any emergency code words. Fox couldn’t place Widget’s tone. Confused? Amused?

“Did they say what they wanted?” Fox asked warily. If it was Vos again, surely Widget would’ve just said.

The silence that followed the question was disconcerting.

But what if Numa had a lil brother. More AU kiddos listen im having a moment this was a quick sketch bc i wanted to explore Boil and Waxer having a tubbie and low key freaking out bc he has freckles and a gap tooth and his hair is a lighter shade of brown (all things they would have been decommished for) and their Ryloth family being like hes perfect ur fine calm down its ok

And the winner of the first Dunky Slug rider is Havoc!!! This is likely to be a scene from my Tango Company fix-it series. It'll be part of my main 'One Small Change' AU. The tentative title of the series is 'It takes Six to Tango' XD I have few regrets about that. :P

Why is he in a Phase 2 helmet? Well, he and his new squad are some of the first to test the new armor along with the ARCs.
