I know. Which is why I feeling rather angry at myself. Maybe it's because I could've been a smart person and see a doctor before our trip, because clearly I was sick already back then. A little thing that could've saved a lot stress, tears and other kind of problems...

Finnish folk dress! I’m a bad fashion-y type person, I’m not exactly interested in folk dress, though the ancient stuff they’ve reconstructed based on tomb findings are pretty cool. Actually, I have access to two genuine folk dresses, from my great aunt (dad’s side) and my grandmother (mom’s side) but I don’t remember what the regions are/couldn’t figure out what the right dress for my own birth region would be, so I went with my current residence, Häme.
I didn’t want to assume I can wear the tanu (headdress) that goes with the whole getup since I am 1)not married 2)not spinster-age (quite yet, give it about two years) so I’m just. Putting a ribbon incorrectly on my incorrect modern black/purple short hair.

The back of an awesome Dollymop ensemble by Kalico Delafey. I looove the way the jacket lines follow the curves of the corset and really emphasize the points. They hug the body so well and still show off the corset. Not pictured is the front, which fastens with four rows of Petersham ribbons tied in bows, but is still mostly open to show the body of the corset.
I can’t wait to get a cute little black and purple jacket like this to go with my corset and an asymmetric skirt to match!

Wife #1 has developed this need to braid people's hair and (un)fortunately I'm pretty much the only one with the longest hair to try things. Luckily wife #2's hair is starting to become long enough, too. ;)
