You know, I’d always think Fantasio be the one who’d DEFINITELY drop the F bomb, when pissed off. Spirou? Nah, not really. Interesting these views differ. :D

Tbh, a few days ago I read “La vallée des bannis“. There is that single moment when something hits Spirou like a last straw and he basically gives vent to the piled up tension, stress and whatnot, all at once.
Of course, in the comic the thing is cleverly censored and it’s not an “F bomb”, on the other hand, even with that kind of cartoonish censorship, you could still figure out that he basically let out a nice “SHIT!” This single bit here is what led me to write that, in that answer. X°D
Ah yes, I know that album. It never was one of my favorites, when I read it, because at that moment felt like Spirou had lost it’s touch (the plot bothered me most, considering we already had had rather interesting ones with the marsupilami and other interesting creatures and this weird valley just felt... flat and nothing new, think the only scene I liked was at the end, with Fantasio realising who Spirou was and helping him) and it went through rather major art changes afterwards, which really alienated me from the series (prefer the older ones). Btw, these albums were translated/sold in Finland almost fifteen years later than they were published, just noticed that.
But yeah, Spirou does cuss? Definitely, has done several times in the past, in the older albums (the cartoonish censorship and caricatures) But F bomb? Nah, not really.
