Beginning in 1906 photographer Arnold Genthe photographed a number of young girls and socialites over the course of ten years in a portrait series of the girls holding/posing with a cat as the theme, throughout the whole project he had different girls pose with a cat named buzzer in total there were four different cats used but all of them were referred to as buzzer.
