Afghan women and supporters around the globe are standing up — or, in this case, singing — in solidarity after the Taliban introduced new rules that prohibit women's voices from being heard in public. Video captured an Afghan woman, Taiba Sulaimani, who lives in Toronto, singing an Afghan song about breaking free from oppression, Storyful reported. The Taliban last week issued the country's first set of laws said to prevent vice and promote virtue. They include a requirement for a woman to conceal her face, body and voice outside the home.
Remember these unfathomably brave women the next time you're listening to Princess Jasmine, Yum Yum or Zeila singing their songs.

I've yet to see the movie, but I'm in love with this outfit. Someone needs to draw Disney's Esmeralda in Gina Lollobrigida's getup.

So a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, I had a list of edits I was gonna make as Christmas presents that quickly got postponed from all the crazy stuff going on along with some birthday gifts to match

It took me a while to figure out what scenario to do for you, Stacy, cause you’ve edited so many good manips with these two like dang guuuuurl, how do I compareeee??? x’DDD
But hopefully you like this modern, high-school twist I did ;) In my mind, Cindy accidentally drops one of her books while she’s daydreaming and Esmeralda reaches it the same time she does 💙
I tried to keep their style different and unique, but also keep their colors and accessories similar to their original clothes as well as sorta bring out their personalities.
tho in all honesty, I just really wanted to draw Esme in a ponytail and Cindy in a lace dress xDDD
